June 8th // 09:30 - 19:30 // Las Naves

Free event and free access

What is VLCTechFest?

It is a day of talks for, and by, the technological communities of the Valencian Community. It is a day to discover, connect and share.

A conference with several parallel tracks featuring talks for all tastes, with time for questions, and space for networking.

A festival focused on participation, with free entry on the door as capacity permits and no ticket required. The first edition in 2018 was a success with more than 120 attendees coming to VLCTechFest.

During the years 2020 and 2021, due to the global coronavirus pandemic, we were forced to suspend the event. The last edition was in 2022 and now we are back with renewed energy ready to pick up where we left off!

See you there!

Proposals

Whether an experienced speaker having given a talk at a meetup or a first-timer looking to get started, go ahead and propose a talk!

We are looking for informational sessions or talks directed at a technical audience, without requiring detailed prior knowledge of the technology or specific tool in question. Talks should be 30 minutes in duration with 15 minutes for questions (45 minutes in total).

The deadline for the submission of proposals ends on April 30th. Shortly after we will let you know if your talk has been accepted. Only one talk will be accepted per speaker, but you can submit all the proposals you want.

Speaker mentoring

Are you afraid to give your first talk? Would you like to do it? In the VLCTechFest we have a team of people to mentor new speakers that can help you prepare the session, test it or even how to write the proposal.

If you are interested, write us to vlctechfest@gmail.com
